I've had a few credit blunders but I squared those away many
years ago. Over the last couple years. I've encountered some odd behavior from
businesses like auto dealerships and several on-line businesses. I'm told
that a lot of these big businesses use a customer credit database to screen
their customers.

how would I be able to obtain a copy of
what's in my personal record that these businesses are obtaining? What
would be a fair cost for this service?


I've had a few credit blunders. During that time. inquiries
that I made to a number of big businesses over the internet would be
ignored. At the same time. I could get people with good credit ratings to
inquire with these companies -- and their inquires would just about always
be answered. I was told that these businesses were using some sort of
screening database.

Now my credit is cleaned up. In the last couple of years tho. I've
started to encounter some odd behavior from businesses like auto
dealerships. A number of on-line businesses are acting just like before
when my credit was bad.

If it's true that these businesses are using a screening database. how
would I be able to obtain a copy of my personal record these businesses
are obtaining? What would be a fair price for this service?
